The Chinese artist Ai Weiwwi and the swiss duo Herzog & de Meuron will team up again for the next Serpentine Pavilion, in the summer of the current year.
Architects from around the world presented us some of the most outstanding pavilions in London's Hyde Park. But for the first time ever, the gallery will allow the architects to take the pavilion underground.
Visitors will be invited to go beneath the Serpentines´s to explore the hidden history of its previous Pavilions. Eleven columns characterising each past Pavilion and a twelfth column will support the platform roof 1.5 meters above ground.
